Ellen has a person-centred approach

My Approach

I value your lived experience

I prioritise your lived experience, ensuring that movement feels safe, empowering, and aligned with your needs and preferences. My approach is person-centred, evidence-based, and trauma-informed, meaning:

You are in control – We move at a pace that feels right for you.

Your voice matters – I encourage you to be an active participant in your care.

Support beyond movement – I consider the full picture of your well-being, not just exercise.

I understand that emotional, social, and physical factors shape your relationship with movement. Together, we’ll navigate these influences and create a personalised, sustainable movement plan that works for you.

Who Would Benefit From my Approach?

My approach is for anyone seeking a supportive, inclusive, and personalised movement experience. I work with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals, as well as those who are chronically ill, disabled, or in higher-weight bodies. If you’ve ever felt unheard in medical or fitness spaces, Your Movement Space is a refuge where movement is compassionate, adaptable, and free from judgment. Here, your unique needs are recognised, respected, and centred in every session.
