I'm Ellen (they/them), and I'm committed to helping you cultivate a sustainable relationship with movement. My approach extends beyond merely providing exercises and sending you on your way. I aim to understand and address your unique barriers to exercise, explore your past experiences, teach you the science behind how exercise works, and find enjoyable movements for you to engage in.
When I opened Your Movement Space I had one mission. To create an environment where you can accept your body, engage in movement at your own pace, and discover your own path to physical activity.
I believe in meeting you where you are because this journey is uniquely yours. Learning a new way to experience movement takes time and doesn't follow a linear plan. It can be a challenging and even frustrating process at times, but we'll navigate it together at a pace you're ready for.

Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) are university-qualified health professionals who specialise in using exercise to manage and prevent chronic conditions and injuries. They complete a four-year degree and are trained to support long-term health by guiding behaviour change. AEPs work with a wide range of individuals; please see our services for more details.
Ellen provides a personalised exercise physiology service that includes establishing movement safety and preferences, analysing your unique barriers to exercise, and planning movement engagement both during and outside of sessions where relevant.Additionally, they offer education to empower you to eventually manage your exercise routine independently.
